Hopefully, through your research yesterday you were able to find some really neat information to incorporate in your speech.
Today you will learn how to correctly and effectively present this information. No one likes being beat over the head with statistics, so pay attention to the DO’s and DON’T’s of information presentation.
Assignment:
Practice your speech all the way through, beginning to end, twice. Make sure you are within the 5-7 minute time limit given for your speech.
Pay special attention to the research information in your speech. Give credit to the sources of your information, and if necessary, read any quotes to make sure you get the wording correct.
