This will be your second day of practice for this week. Take advantage of the opportunity to use this practice time to hone your skills. Good use of these practice days throughout the year will make sure that you get the most out of this class.
Assignment:
Practice the text of your speech two or three times all the way through. Keep up with the time and make sure you are aiming for 5-7 minutes.
Pare down your notes to just the main points of your speech on the blank side of a note card. Hold this card or put it on a stand in front of you, but only look at it for a brief glance if you lose your place.
