Assignment:
First, you need to practice the speech all the way through. Use the timing tip I gave you in the lesson. Get someone else to time and show you the cards.
After this first run through, break the speech down into each of the transitions between points. This will help the speech flow as one project, rather than a bunch of thoughts just thrown together. This is also where you can implement some of the memory tips from this lesson to help you keep the points in order in your mind.
Finally, put the speech back together and practice it again, all the way through, with the timing cards. If you feel you need to, it can be a good idea to go ahead and practice more than twice, but that is the minimum requirement for today’s assignment.
